Led by award-winning performer and facilitator Bindy Stephens, this lively 50-minute show invites little ones to sing, move, play and explore together. Through storytelling, song and dance, families are gently introduced to ideas about kindness, respect, equality and positive relationships in a way that is playful, engaging and easy for young minds to understand. Developed by Happy Habits and inspired by a much-loved picture book, All Come Out to Play celebrates the idea that everyone is valued, capable and welcome to join the game. Children are encouraged to participate throughout the performance, joining in activities, responding to the story and discovering the joy of music and movement alongside others their age. It's an uplifting experience that allows grown-ups and children to learn together while sharing plenty of laughs along the way. To celebrate World Wellbeing Week, Happy Habits presents these special free performances at community venues across Tasmania. Created by award-winning artist and educator Bindy Stephens, the 50‑minute performance combines puppetry, storytelling, movement and music. Children from pre‑school to Grade 2 will meet vibrant characters who model resilience, problem-solving and emotional regulation, all in a fun, engaging and inclusive format. Families will leave with practical strategies to recognise, understand and express emotions, while enjoying a joyful, hands-on theatre experience that supports connection, creativity and mental wellbeing. The show is welcoming to all children, including those with diverse learning needs or who are learning English as a second language.
