The Art of Sparkling showcases the making of one of Tasmania's most iconic products world-class Sparkling Wines that rival the finest Champagnes. Take a guided walk of the grounds and learn all things Josef Chromy. Learn about sparkling wine production and trial your own dosage to create your perfect bottle of Sparkling to keep. Finish with lunch in the hatted Josef Chromy Restaurant. Experience commences from the Cellar Door at 11.00am and is available on request.

The Josef Chromy Winery and Restaurant is located just 10 minutes south of Launceston in Northern Tasmania. The property comprises a 61 ha vineyard, state-of-the-art winery, cellar door and restaurant. A renowned Tasmanian traditional method sparkling house, Josef Chromy Wines also produces premium table wines including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. The Josef Chromy Wines Cellar Door has been recognised as Northern Tasmania's Best Large Cellar Door in the 2021 Gourmet Traveller Wine Awards. Cellar Door is open 7 days. The Josef Chromy Restaurant has been awarded One Chef Hat every year since 2017 and proudly showcases the freshest local produce. Casual, outdoor dining is also available, with our Brasserie menu offering platters and kids' meals. Dining is available 7 days over summer and Thursday to Monday from May to September.
