The Oatlands Art Retreat has been thoughtfully designed for artists of all levels working in any medium to come together, collaborate, gain new creative inputs, and be inspired by Tasmania's stunning landscape. Over 4 days and 3 nights, participants will work in the studio, explore the landscape or town by day, and in the evenings, listen to exceptional speakers share insights into their creative practices and the role of place and history in the work they do. At the heart of this year's retreat is a two-day masterclass with acclaimed artist and educator Megan Walch. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and create in our venues, while also drawing inspiration from the surroundings, observing, experimenting, and painting en plein air under Megan's expert guidance. Whether you are looking to develop your skills, gain fresh ideas, or connect with other creatives, the Oatlands Art Retreat offers a unique opportunity to grow your practice in an inspiring and supportive environment.
