St Helens Point

The Humbug Point Nature Reserve, Georges Bay St Helens offers a large campground area with excellent water access. The site is accessed off Binalong Bay Road, north of St Helens. A very popular area for bush walking and bird watching. Suitable for motorhomes, campervans and caravans. Large camping area with some great shady spots.

Dora Point Campground is a campground within the Humbug Point Nature Recreation Area, managed by the Parks and Wildlife Service Tasmania. Humbug Point Nature Recreation Area offers a large area for camping and caravans with easy access to Georges Bay. An excellent family holiday spot, the reserve is popular for birdwatching, walks, fishing and water activities. There is a place to launch your boat at Binalong Bay, which is within the Humbug Point Nature Recreation Area. The campground is suitable for tents, caravans and campervans. The campground has toilets that are accessible with assistance. There are also showers within the toilet block, although the cubicles would not be accessible to wheelchair users. Fees do not apply. No bookings are required. Please take all rubbish away with you. Campers are not permitted to gather wood from the reserve. Total site number and capacity are estimates only.
