We explore the use of soft pastels and work with still life, landscape, animal life, abstract and more, based on the interest of those in attendance. We meet from 1-3pm during the second Tuesday of every month. All materials are provided, although if you have a soft pastel set collecting dust at home, you're welcome to bring. Although there are tips and suggestions, this is not a professional guided session, it is experimentation, play and fun. You can just show up. Beginners are welcome. Facilitated by Tasmanian Artist, Lee-Anne Peters who has been working with soft pastels as her main medium of choice for over 20yrs. Our Campbell Town Art and Craft Group has been running since March 2024. This is a fun, casual and friendly group of people interested in meeting other people, creating with others or getting out of the house. Bring your own activity to do. Whether it be painting a picture, crocheting a blanket, colouring in, knitting, tending to your hobby, or anything you would like to do. You can just show up. New people are welcome. There is no charge. On the 2nd Tuesday of each month. 10am - 12pm.

Create - make - heal - connect with Lee-Anne Peters at this 4-day workshop. Dive deeply into yourself, your wounds and your creativity to create a number of artworks, of various mediums. Bring these together with other participants to create a unique and personal deck of cards. No art skills are required as you will be guided with everything. Lee-Anne Peters is the founder of Temple of Balance (2005) and illustrator and creator of 5 x decks of cards, including the popular Healing Energy Cards. Accommodation, meals and airfares are not included.

Painting Retreat with Lee-Anne Peters Red Bridge Painting We will focus our inspirations around the old convict build Red Bridge, Campbell Town - a short walk from our workshop location. Here you can photograph and sketch out your ideas and inspirations to take back to our warm and open workshop space to map out our composition and plan on canvas. Exploring colour, shape and lines you will apply some layers of paint and - depending on your skill level and the time available, intricate detail can be added. Suitable for open-minded beginners, young adults, intermediate and advanced artists Accommodation and meals are not included Morning / afternoon tea provided. Workshop space: Indoor. Open space. CLAY WORKSHOP - Vase with sprig decoration Make a medium size vase using the coil method. Make in the shape / form you would like, and add some sprig decorations if there is time. Suitable for beginners, intermediate, people u/12 to be accompanied / assisted by an adult At Harmony on High Street Campbell Town, Tasmania with Lee-Anne Peters Each ticket purchase includes: White Stoneware clay 3hrs of studio time use of tools and equipment advice and tips Lee-Anne can apply glaze during kiln firing. Make your own intricate Faerie House with gnarly, moss cover trees, flowers, fungi, patterns, windows, door, shingles etc. An imaginary place where the faeries are sure to take up residence. Add a candle or light to brighten the lantern up from the inside. An intensive, yet fun, three days of clay making and decorating. Fully guided and supported. All clay, tools, materials, glazing and kiln firing costs are included. You will build your Faerie House using the slab building method. Any additions can be impressed, hand sculpted and added on (Lee-Anne will guide you with this). They'll leave an opening in the back for the candle/light of your choosing, cut out the door and windows, and add your decoration colours. Lee-Anne will twice fire in the kiln and apply clear glaze for you. You have great opportunity to personalise your Faerie House with detail. The piece you create will be available for pick up, with details given at the Workshop (approx 4 weeks later), and postage is available for interstate and international visitors at the attendee's expense. Here you can photograph and sketch out your ideas and inspirations to take back to our warm and open workshop space to map out our composition and plan on canvas.
