Experience Mt Wellington's easiest and most accessible adventure ride. After a shuttle to the village of Fern Tree, explore up to 33km of the historic Pipeline Track, a wide, gently graded trail winding through spectacular temperate rainforest. This self-guided ride offers stunning mountain scenery, waterfalls, historic aqueducts, and frequent wildlife encounters, all on a smooth gravel surface suitable for riders with basic bike skills. From Fern Tree, it's a very gentle climb up the Pipeline Track, so gentle, it's almost flat. It's 13km to the highest point on the trail, then turn around and enjoy a 20km descent through one of Hobart's most beautiful natural areas. The ride finishes at the TasMBA shop. Perfect for families, casual riders, visitors to Hobart, and anyone seeking a relaxed outdoor adventure. Duration: 4-6 hours Skill level: Easy, green, level 1-2. Includes: Bike hire, helmet, and shuttle option Riders must be comfortable on a bike with good basic bike handling skills Fitness level: Basic/Fair (If riding an e-bike, required fitness level is low.) Restrictions: Minimum height 150cm. Under 18's must be accompanied by a parent / guardian.
